Mantrap capability means the turnstile creates an enclosed space where a person is temporarily contained between two locked points. The interlocking door sequences prevent the next person from entering until the current person has fully exited. Gatestile glass rotating turnstiles use 10mm tempered safety glass panels. Tempered glass is up to five times stronger than standard glass and, if broken, shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces. The glass can be specified in clear, frosted, tinted, or custom finishes.
