A glass rotating turnstile is a full-height security entrance featuring a cylindrical glass drum that rotates 360° to allow one person at a time to pass through. The drum is constructed from 10mm tempered glass panels set in a stainless steel frame. Interlocking door sequences ensure only one entry or exit occurs at a time, providing mantrap-level security with a premium architectural appearance.
Mantrap capability means the turnstile creates an enclosed space where a person is temporarily contained between two locked points. The interlocking door sequences prevent the next person from entering until the current person has fully exited. This eliminates piggybacking and tailgating, ideal for data centers, banks, and jewelry stores.
Gatestile glass rotating turnstiles use 10mm tempered safety glass panels. Tempered glass is up to five times stronger than standard glass and, if broken, shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces. The glass can be specified in clear, frosted, tinted, or custom finishes.
